An extraordinary pairing for your celebration or a memorable hostess gift…

Let the wave of flavor begin – SALTY SMOOTHNESS …

Draeger’s Market is featuring a very special cheese – an extraordinary cheese – Marieke Foenegreek Gouda. This scrumptious signature cheese is made from an Old World Gouda recipe by the very talented cheese maker, Marieke Penterman. She is a native of Holland. The equipment, cultures, herbs and spices are imported from her native land. This amazing young Gouda is made with foenegreek seeds native to Holland. The seeds add a superb nutty flavor to the caramel-like sweetness of this unique cheese. Thank you Draeger’s for the introduction!

The wave of flavor rolls on – SWEET CARAMEL COFFEE NUTTINESS…

The minute we tasted this cheese we thought WOW – Milk Chocolate Madness! The nuttiness of our Chessboard truffle, the roasted coffee center of our Moccatine and the caramel / brown sugar notes of our Milk Chocolate Truffle just screamed “pairing perfection!”  You have to try this one!

The wave of flavors continues – LIQUID  CHOCOLATE CARAMEL COFFEE …

2005 Daniel Gehrs Fireside Port, Amador County.   Inky ruby color and a nose of jammy cherry and blackberry with butterscotch.  On the palate there are hints of chocolate, caramel and coffee! Wow, this wonderful wine is a perfect match to be enjoyed with Milk Chocolate Madness!

Celebrate this Memorial Day weekend with this most memorable pairing!

A Memorial Day Remembrance

“Memorial Day is a day to celebrate and thank all those people who died (or are MIA) to create the freedoms we enjoy today. Many people travel to the final resting place of their deceased relatives or friends in cemeteries around the country to decorate their graves on this national holiday. Additionally, Memorial Day is about celebrating all people – all of our ancestors and forefathers – who have created the world we live in today and who have paved the long road we walk down into the future.”
